Macrobinocular Missions Guide
A spymaster known as the Shroud plans to crash a dreadnaught into Kaas City.
Darth Mortis has directed Evie Bo, the Shroud’s former lieutenant, to assist you in stopping the Shroud’s attack.
This guide shows you the exact coordinates (macobinocular view) of all scanning locations and leads you
through the puzzles to save Kaas City.
Initial Quest – Start
You can pick up the initial quest on Makeb from T4-M7 at the “Drill Site Control Center”. (Requires level 52)
Darth Mortis will ask you to travel to Dromund Kaas and speak to his source for further information.
Once you have started the Macrobinocular questline, the GSI dailies on Alderaan, Hoth, Makeb, and Tatooine
will be available too.

- Release superheated steam trough area pipe system to make your way through the Sewer Entrance
- Leave the Sewer Entrance with the Elevator and investigate the Sewage Treatment Level

Locate the Local Transmission Source
- Infiltrate the Local Transmission Source
- Find a way through the Laser Defense Grid
- Interact with the Staged Generator Controls (second one)
- Increasing generator output opens Generator Ventilation Bays
- Interact with the Staged Generator Controls (third one) and dispatch Maintenance Droids
- Defeat Maintenance Response Droids
- Overload both Inhibitor Panels
- Interact with the Staged Generator Controls (third one) again and engage the Emergency Heat Sink
- Destroy the vents
- Interact with the Generator Console (the last on the right)
- Locate the Local Transmission Source
- Don’t run into the Defense Grid
- Use your Binoculars an scan the Electrical Junction Box on the right
- Destroy it and get access to the Security Override Panel
- Deactivate Defense Grid: Red > Green > Yellow > Green
- Clear the room when you reach the Cryoban Tanks
- You need to reroute the Cryobon to the door
- Flush both Cryoban Tanks in front of you
- Flush the third Cryoban Tank on the other side of the room
- Attack the Cryoban Flow Control Junction just next to the right tank
- Attack the Cryoban Flow Control Junction behind you
- Go back to the first tanks and attack the Controls next to the right and left
- Turn around and attack the one in the middle
- Got to the door and destroy the last one to open the door
- Defeat Peej
- Search Peej’s Dataframe for Information
- Await New Mission Coordinates

The Shrouds’s Last Stand (Heroic 4)
Find the Shroud – Infiltrate the Liar and access the security console
- Open the first door
- Find the missing Levers on the shelf
- Find the missing Lever on top of the garbage piles
- Install both levers and pull them down to open the door
- Open the second door
- Activate the Shroud’s holorecordings at the end of the room
- Defeat the of droids
- Pull all four switch at the same time
- Clear all sections of the next area from droid trash
- Find and access the security console
- Defeat the security turrets, don’t step into yellow and kill the security response droids
- Eliminate the IR 16 System Management Droid
Find the Shroud – Factory Security Puzzle
- Deactivate the laser grid to access the Shroud’s Production Facility – Maintenance Level
(you have to be on the mission to interact with this panel)
- Activate button 1 (yellow) and open the droid section
- Make your way through to the computer console
- Kill the droid
- Activate the droid section switch
- Open the door behind you to get back
- Activate button 2 (green)
- Go quickly to the other side of the room (gas timer)
- Activate the gas section switch
- Activate button 3 (red)
- Open up the ray shield protecting the switch above the laser grid
- Activate laser control switch
(activate the switches at the same time)
- Activate the lightbridge
- Clear the room from droids
- Go to the bridge room
- Destroy the wall on the right side near the door and find the panel inside the hidden room
- Jump on the pipes to reach the other consoles and activate them
- Use the steam vent to get back up again
- Activate the bridge panel (you have to be on the mission to interact with this panel)
Bossfight – Defeat the Shroud
- Click the holocommunicator
- Defeat the droids
- Open the door and face the Shroud
- Everyone pick one console and click it at the same time
- Bring the Shroud to 75 % and kill the little droids (kill the little repair drones)
- Click your Consoles again to remove the Shroud’s Shield
- Bring the Shroud to 50 % and kill more droids
- Below 50%, he will grapple everyone inside the dome and summon four Subversion droids
- Defeat the Subversion droids
- Once the droids are defeated, 12 clones of the Shroud will spawn (only one of them is real and takes damage)
- Pick the one in the north west
- Finish the Shroud and interrupt The Shroud’s Termination Ray (otherwise he will one shot a group member)
- Stop the remote-piloted dreadnaught
- Return to Evie Bo on Dromund Kaas
